The filter element of gasoline filter mostly uses filter paper

1. Classification and function of gasoline filter.

Gasoline filter is abbreviated as steam filter. Gasoline filters are divided into carburetor type and electronic injection type. For gasoline engines that use carburetor, the gasoline filter is located on the inlet side of the fuel transfer pump. The working pressure is relatively small. Generally, nylon shells are used. The gasoline filter is located on the outlet side of the fuel transfer pump, and the working pressure is relatively high. A metal casing is usually used. The filter element of the gasoline filter mostly uses filter paper, and there are also gasoline filters that use nylon cloth and molecular materials. The main function is to filter out impurities in the gasoline. If the gasoline filter is dirty or clogged. In-line filter paper gasoline filter: The gasoline filter is inside this type of gasoline filter, and the folded filter paper is connected to the two ends of the plastic or metal/metal filter. After the dirty oil enters, the outer wall of the filter passes through layers of filter paper After filtering, it reaches the center and clean fuel flows out.

(2) Operation steps

1. Remove the engine guard plate.

2. Check the brake pipeline. Whether the brake pipeline is cracked, damaged, raised or deformed, and whether there is liquid leakage at the connection part.

3. Check the installation condition of the brake pipe and hose. Ensure that the vehicle does not come into contact with the wheels or body due to vibrations when the vehicle is in motion or when the steering wheel is turning.

4. Check the fuel line. Whether the fuel pipeline is cracked, damaged, raised or deformed, the rubber parts are not aging, hardened, and the clamps are falling off.

5. Check the shock absorber.

(1) Check whether the shock absorber oil leaks. Put on your gloves and wipe the shock absorber column from top to bottom with your hands to see if there is any oil stains on the gloves.

(2) Check whether the shock absorber is damaged. Shake the shock absorber rod back and forth to check for looseness.

(3) Check whether the coil spring is damaged. Hold the coil spring and pull it down to check for damage, abnormal noise, or looseness.
